My new sister, Emma, thinks it’s always time to play. I like playing as much as the next dog, though I tend to move a LOT slower than most. Here is a short video with my Dad playing with my sister Emma. If you watch closely you will see me make an entrance. Enjoy and have a great Easter. I love Easter, what with all the bunnies and all, Ha, Ha…

Think I'm Cute? Buy Me a Biscuit
I was just reading the very sad story about Daisy Mae and Peanut passing away recently. I’m sure they are very much missed. They lived long lives, though, and brought their people much joy and happiness.
People never know when we are going to leave them, but we do. Unfortunately, it’s hard to let our people know when we are about to leave. They think that when a dog is old that is when they will probably die. But that is not always the case.
Sometimes our mission on earth is shorter. Sometimes we learn things faster than expected. (This, of course, does not apply to Beagles. We’ll be around for a long time, don’t worry).
Anyway, as I was saying, many times dogs learn quickly what they are here on earth to learn, and it’s time to move on. My sister, Lucy the Bassett, was one such dog. She passed away back in November of last year, at about 8 years of age. She was a bully to me and my other four-legged sisters, but she was nice to people. Our humans loved her very much, and were very upset when she died.
Since she was young, she had to come up with a clever way to leave, without anyone suspecting that it was just time for her to go. So she got a terrible disease that killed her quickly. You can read more on my Dad’s blog if you want to.
But what my people are trying to do is to start a fund for people who have sick animals and can’t pay the vet bills. Vets are great but they are very expensive. My people still owe our vet thousands of dollars for Lucy’s care. People shouldn’t be forced to choose between care for their pets, or being able to eat.
So, if you are interested in helping my people out, you can leave me a message here on my blog, and I will let them know. And thank you in advance.

Hi,
I normally don’t write on the weekends, what with being busy sleeping and all, but I was visiting dogs with blogs and found Jazz and Dixie. They remind me of when I was young. They live in Japan, and from what I was reading, they are very dog friendly over there.
I wish we had as many pet friendly places here in our area, since I can’t go into hardly any stores over here. Except for the pet stores, like Petco, or local pet stores.
