Hi,

Foxy here. I would like to introduce myself to all of my sister’s loyal readers. I am Foxy Cleopatra, and I’m a whole lot ‘a doggie! I am also the only one of my four legged siblings that requires grooming. The others are all short haired beings.

I feel that since I am the only one that gets groomed, and since I am familiar with nail clippings and baths and the like, that I will be bringing you news of the doggie fashion world. Right now, there is another season of America’s Next Top Model starting. I would like to suggest that we have an America’s Next Top Dog Model competition.

If you are interested in being a contestant, or know of someone who may be interested, please submit their picture and some information about them to me at this email.

The rules:

1. All contestants must be of the four-legged canine type. No cats, please. No offense, but we don’t want cat fights like on the human show.

2. When emailing pictures, please resize them to a reasonable size so as to be easily emailed and opened. A good size is 4 x 6, 72 dpi.

3. When sending information on a contestant, please include age, breed and whether a shelter dog or purebreed. Also include anything that is special about you. For instance, do you have a fierce bark or really great legs?

4. Only one entry per contestant. If I see you dressed up as something else and sending another picture you will be eliminated.

The Judges: Me. I will make the final decision on who wins and who doesn’t.

The Prizes: To be determined. I will award a prize to the first, second and third place winners.

Good Luck to all who enter!

Dad and I were talking the other day, and he said “Lilsy, why don’t you write as often as you used to?”.
To which I replied “I’m tired. I’m really old, and it’s hard to sit still for any amount of time without falling asleep.”
Dad understood and suggested that I maybe have a ghost writer or two to help me out. I thought that was a great idea, and I immediately thought of my three sisters. They could write what I told them to write and I would get all the credit. Cool! Sarah is always wanting to say something anyway, so I might as well help her focus her constant yapping.
The three lovely ladies on the right are my sisters, and will be helping me with my blog from now on. They are: (from left to right, top to bottom) Foxy, Sarah and Emma Lou.
Foxy is a stray that showed up at my Dad’s work around the time that Jake and I were loose a few years ago. When I returned from my big adventure, Foxy was there to greet me. Foxy is older, like me, and she is very sweet.
Sarah is also a stray, but she came right to the house, when we were in Pennsylvania. They say she is a Beagle mix, but I think that gives Beagles a bad rap. She showed up on a holiday weekend, as I recall, and Dad said “We’ll take her to the shelter on Monday.” “Yeah, right” said I. Obviously that didn’t happen. She’s still here and still tormenting me.
Emma Lou is the newest edition to our family. She is the youngest, and she is very sweet and kind to me. Emma would never hurt anyone except for maybe a cat or something, but even then I think she would run away. Emma came from the bad place (the s-h-e-l-t-e-r), and joined our family shortly after I lost my sister Lucy last November. I think she’ll be a great addition to the blog.
Well, that’s it for the introductions. Stay tuned for some posts from these guys. I’m sure they’ll be great, and it will save me lots of work.
