If I Could Speak

I’ve always known that a pet, such as a dog or a cat, can really help people. Those of us who have pets are typically in better health, happier, more calm, …etc. I have always wondered, however, what do the pets get in return, other than food and a place to live. Are we humans that special to our animals?

Well, apparently we are. I just read a great article from Best Friends, and it shows us how we people are really helping the animals. The story is about a college student and her relationship with a terminally ill cat. Have a read. Oh, and have some tissues handy…Technorati Tags: best friends, cats
